So here’s Ted Williams our worlds latest viral sensation and what a random one he is! Ted first came to light when the Columbus Dispatch a local Ohio newspaper posted a video on its website and youtube.

Ted used to stand on a intersection in Ohio with a cardboard sign stating that he had fallen on hard times and that he has been blessed with “the God-given gift of voice” and fair play he probably has.  After we see Ted in action, larking about with his wonderful voice, we get to hear the story of how he got into the “Theatre of mind” and how he worked as a radio announcer and managed to fall on bad times and found drugs.

As the video comes to a close  in the last seconds of the video we hear Ted proclaim “I jus’ love radio” and you be glad to hear that Ted a father of nine who had destroyed his life has been offered jobs left right and centre from people like the Cleveland Cavaliers, the NFL and MTV!

Now this could have gone two ways , but Ted made a conscious decision not to just beg, but to take advantage and communicate the fact that he has this talent and luckily for him it has eventually payed off.

Good luck to him.

Most of the time its the small things that make me smile. The small things are the details we always remember.

IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW SLOW YOU GO SO LONG AS YOU DO NOT STOP.

The words of Confucius popping up on blog edit page after almost 4 months after my last post, jus what I need to motivate myself so I start blogging again.

I kind of got distracted from this blog pretty quickly, I have recently been working on my portfolio and also setting up my online catalogue of my work. quite frankly it has been going pretty slow, being the perfectionist I am, I want to be able to create something that I can drop on the desk of the CD and know it wont get thrown to one side.

Dont get me wrong I am very proud of my work, but how do I make a portfolio that gets u seen, without going down the vulgar form of printing your cv onto a birthday cake or something retarded like that?

The pie is definitely my favourite out of all the campaign commercials, even convinced me to make the pie

A great example of how to advertise butter, without shouting look BUTTER!

In recent years when it comes to the sale of butter there hasnt been much imagination or craftsmanship in the advertising, it seems like everyday I tune in and see countless ads with silly gimmicks like playing around with the name. “I cant believe its not, not something you spread on your toast that tastes very bland in comparison to other spreads you could have!”

This is why i reckon Lurpaks recent ad campaign by Wieden & Kennedy London deviate from the quite frankly boring norm, they take notice of the small things that the consumer desires when it comes to buying butter, thats not butter but what goes with it, or what it makes. Be it Bread, Pie or even cake, so be proud of which butter you buy and don’t buy that tasteless shit!
Also a real nice touch is how they have added recipes to their website, a great way of getting your audience to interact make something really tasty but with so many imperfections, so your not scared if you cock it up!

Right, away from advertising for a second, and more towards product design. With the up coming popularity of Bike Culture in London the product design of bikes and equipment has changed massively, like look at the innovative carbon-dioxide canceling masks saving people their health. The bueatifully designed Tokyo bike, now comes the uber cool cyglo wheel tyres that have led lights on the tyres that make you ridacoilously visable at night and also as if your out of some film based in 2020.
The product has already received amazing responses being compared to a concept vehicle in the new disney Tron: The Legacy, the sequel to the 1980s classic.
Not just that but after speaking with creators I have found out that they are just going through the process of mass production ready for its release, this will be something everyone can afford, so if your interested sign up to the newsletter.

its rarely you get a very good piece of print advertising that speaks to straight the target audience and avoids its opposite
